I am loving the look and colours of smoothie bowls at the moment – they have summer written all over them and there are a million options and ingredients that you can use. A top tip to make the smoothie part thicker so that you can layer on lots of toppings is to use frozen fruit (I made this mistake with mine so some of the fruit is sinking but not bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself). I included protein in mine to fuel my body as I had completed a gym session beforehand, use cocoa powder if you want an alternative!
- Low fat natural Greek style yogurt
- Whole earth smooth peanut butter
- Protein World (The Slender Blend) chocolate flavour (3 scoops)
- Handful of raspberries
- Semi skimmed milk
- Chia seeds
- Fruit and nut granola
