Another month almost over, time to round up my current favourite fashion trends. I have felt so inspired this month thanks to all of the Spring/Summer 18 fashion week catwalks, collections and street style looks. Some of my favourite designers collections that have left a firm imprint in my mind include Tory Burch, Versace, Bottega Veneta and Christian Dior. Which shows have you loved the most this season?
Crushing on Burgundy
I have to start with Aimee from Song of Style
‘s all burgundy look complete with the ‘Pixie’ bag by Chloé. It’s the most gorgeous colour for Autumn/Winter & looks so luxurious. Wearing this colour from head to toe, including accessories, just makes even more of an impact.
Baker hats = The Fashion accessory everyone is wearing this season & I’m not even surprised. It it such a chic accessory – in true French style.
I love the monochrome heels in the street style shot although I don’t know where these ones are from, they are giving me Miu Miu vibes with the over exposed and exaggerated buckle straps *if you know, please tell!*
The sports-luxe trousers are not that new to the scene but I have been loving this style of trousers for quite a while now! The side-stripe is the perfect way to add a little athleisure to even a smart outfit.
I usually associate floral prints with summer but I am so ready to wear dark
florals for A/W. I am obsessed with how Camila Coelho has styled a black, floral midi dress in the top left corner and the beautiful embroidery on the sheer dress
When I think of cold weather, the only thing that excites me is chunky knits in an array of textures, and how amazing are these pom pom and fringed pieces!? The yarn balls on the cardigan
are heart shaped too – so cute!
OK, I lied, there’s one more thing that makes winter weather bearable and that’s boots. It’s an obsession. Studded ankle boots, knee high boots, sock boots, the list goes on.
Ok, last trend, PINK. Anything and everything pink catches my eye at the moment! I think this colour has probably had the biggest turn around and is no longer seen as just a ‘girly’ colour. Shop my pink edit here.
What are you crushing on this month?
