I’ve wanted to touch on my current hair routine and talk about the products I am using for a while now so here it is! The main issue I have with my hair is the dry texture; bleach and heated appliances have been a big contributing factor to this! I know that the main fix is a trip to the hairdressers every 6 weeks for a trim, but if you are like me and put it off for a little while longer (so bad I know, but 6 weeks just comes around too fast), there are some products included here that I like to use to give me a little more longevity to that time frame.
GHD advanced split end therapy. This product is so lovely. It’s a bit like a hair mask that I apply onto my ends when towel-dried to protect against heated appliances.
TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Beautifying Oil. I apply a few drops of this also onto the mid-lengths and ends of my hair to treat, smooth and protect.
John Frieda full repair. I alternate between this and the above when my hair is clean and wet, again concentrating on damaged ends.
TRESemmé heat defence spray. This is sprayed all over my hair before blowdrying or using my GHD’s to protect against heat damage. It smells so good!
VO5 Smoothly does it. This is a heat defence serum that I apply after some blowdrying but before my hair is completely dry to try and tame the frizz and flyaways. Concentrate on using just a small amount as serum can have a tendency to look greasy and again focus on the ends of wherever needs it most.
Redken Shine Flash 02. I love this glistening mist. It sprays so finely and smells lovely leaving a smooth and shiny finish, salon style. I apply this after I have styled my hair.
Batiste dry shampoo. These products are life-savers for us busy girls! I usually buy the brunette version as it works perfectly with my hair colour, but I bought the blush version in an emergency the other day and was just as impressed. So good for freshening up your hair and also giving a little volume.
L’Oreal Matte & Messy Salt Spray. This gives a great tousled look for those beach-weather days and also smells delicious.
