Hi lovely readers! I wanted to write a post about affordable cosmetics that I buy from drug store/chemists/make up stores – whichever you call them! As a girl saving for a home, there are some times I have to reign in the amount I am spending on certain items – If you are the same, keep reading to see some of my favourite affordable beauty products that are currently in my make-up bag:
Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation – I find that I have to switch up the foundation I use after I have got through a couple of bottles. For some reason, my skin decides it has had enough and wants to try something new. At the moment, this foundation is really working for me, it has great coverage, leaves a satin finish and contains an SPF – which is a must for me!
MUA Pro-Brow ultimate eyebrow kit (dark) – MUA products are so reasonably priced. I find its perfect when you are trying a new product, want to experiment, or just need something for a one-off occasion. I love this little kit as the flat, angled brush creates a precise shape and I can mix together a black and brown to create the perfect shade. It comes in a compact kit with a handy mirror and has lasted me ages!
Collection pressed powder – Another extremely affordable cosmetics brand which I buy for products I use the most and go through quickly – I think this powder is about £2-£3! This powder is very fine so it looks very natural when applied and contains silk blended with moisturisers, Vitamin E, UVA and UVB protection – so much for your money!
My last product to talk about is from the fashion retailer, Topshop. As more and more high street retailers bring out cosmetic ranges, the more choice and availability there is out there (and more things to try out!). I have a beautiful chameleon highlighter in ‘mother of pearl’ which has light reflecting pearls and creates a beautiful shimmery glow, the perfect touch for a night out!
