July Edit: The Best Bits (outfits, food and travel)

Another month has flown by and there were lots of good bits from July that made it onto Instagram etc but not quite a blog post, so I’m going to share with you now in a thrown together fashion, I hope you like!

I had a full on day in London for one of my friends birthdays which involved lunching at Aubaine, Selfridges (and admiring the wisteria), strolling around central London where we came across the bright flowers adorning the Maddox Gallery, enjoyed some drinks at Aqua Rooftop Bar and Boxpark in Shoreditch before finally heading to The Four Thieves pub in Clapham – they have a “games” room upstairs but unfortunately the queue was far too long to wait for.

What I wore: Top from Primark, black ripped jeans from Zara and a vintage Levi jacket.

I spent some time in Tring, one of my favourite little towns, helping my friend move house. Whilst there, we had brunch in a coffee shop called Black Goo, they are the ones with an amazing cake display in the photo above. We also tried some gin cocktails in a new restaurant called Restaurant 23 (more like a bowl of gin but not complaining ha!)

It was so sunny this day so I wore a Primark black denim skirt, off the shoulder top from New Look and H&M shoes.

OOTD: Watermelon printed tee from Primark and Zara culottes, such a comfortable outfit for the warmer weather.

OOTD: I’m a little bit in love with this blazer/jacket I got from Zara in the sale too for only £19.99!

I went back to Restaurant 23 in Tring for my friends birthday and had an amazing 3 course meal of crab cakes, lamb with creamed potato and a chocolate brownie for dessert – so good!

Lastly, a couple of shameless fitting room snaps (I can’t be the only person who forms their decision to buy on how the garment looks on camera!?). I am loving the tie sleeves that you can see on the first striped dress! What’s your favourite look? I couldn’t buy them all unfortunately but I did get one these pieces – wait for the outfit post soon!

Now I’m ready for August – my favourite month of the year because it’s my birthday (hehe!). Expect to see celebrations, a hair transformation, new outfits and more beauty box reviews! Eek!

Ooh love your outfits! Loving the pink off the shoulder top too, they seem to be sticking around for a second year eh? 🙂 Aubaine looks so pretty; I haven’t been to their Selfridges one but have gone to their standalone restaurant but unfortunately the food didn’t wow me but I guess it’s worth the wisteria view for this one hehe. Ooh birthday months are the best months, hope you’re having a great week so far!

Thanks so much for your comment! Off the shoulder tops definitely aren’t going anywhere..until the weather doesn’t allow us to wear them anymore haha! Xx
