One of my favourite things about fashion is how you can completely switch up your style on a daily basis – perfect if you are someone who is indecisive like me! Sometimes I love to inject some colour into my outfits and some days I love a classic black and white assemble. It’s got to be the most timelessly classic colour combination!
Ever Evolving Wardrobe
I am currently in a stage of wanting to create an effortless looking wardrobe with core staples and classic trends, rather than spending more money on fast fashion that is one day and out the next. Some of my favourite pieces that I have loved for a long time now, fall into the monochrome colour palette; black Topshop jeans, white Stan Smith trainers and plain white tees. These are also looks I don’t get bored of and I can put together without much thought.
New Found Love
I spoke about my new found love for knee high boots in my Current Favourites and I recently purchased this black faux suede pair from the Spanish label Stradivarius. I love how they pull together an outfit and the heel is the perfect height for me – they are also super comfortable!
What I Wore
With my over the knee boots, I paired a new Houndstooth Wrap Skirt from Primark that I knew would create the look I wanted with the boots, a dark grey high neck top – such a classic piece to have in lots of colourways – and a black shoulder bag, also new from Primark. I love the size of it as it fits in all of my everyday essentials and the faux fur has been styled in a chevron/quilted way. The faux fur also feels ridiculously soft so I just had to have it!
