Happy New Year! I hope you had a special end to 2017 and are ready to take on a new year of life! I wanted to share some new beauty products that entered my world at the end of last year, most of which were lovely Christmas presents.

I have been dying to get my hands on some Glossier products since they began offering U.K. shipping in October. My brother asked for a list of what I wanted and got me the Boy Brow, Milk Jelly Cleanser and Rose Balm Dotcom – so cute! So far, I’m loving the Boy Brow. It adds a natural amount of colour and texture which just gives my brows the extra fullness they need.

The Milky Jelly Cleanser is so versatile because you can use in the morning to wake up your skin and give it that extra boost, or at the end of the day to remove makeup. I think I was expecting this product to have a nice scent and unfortunately it doesn’t but it is gentle on the skin which is definitely more important!

The Rose Balm smells so good! I did however think it was just a lip balm – this is why Glossier need a store here in the U.K. because I definitely do not read properly online – however it’s an all encompassing balm that can be used on dry skin, cuticles or anything that needs some extra love. I think it would be more effective if it just focused on being a lip balm as this is probably all I’ll use it for, but it definitely does soften those dry areas.

Next – Cashmere Gift Set

If you like your high street perfumes for an everyday freshen up, you have to try one of Next’s own scents, Cashmere. It’s a combination of florals and delicate powdery musks, and at the heart of this fragrance is a rose absolute oil, which has calming & balancing properties. I got this from my Mum and included in the set was the perfume and a hand cream!

e.l.f Primer

If you are looking for a primer and need a good selection, e.l.f cosmetics offer such a good range! Before Christmas I bought myself the poreless primer because I was sick of seeing pores on my face and wanted something that would work to reduce them. Not only does this primer reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, but it also works on fine lines and giving an airbrushed look! I love how soft and velvety the texture of this primer is. It literally glides over the skin creating a smooth base for your foundation to sit on. I’m excited to try out the rest of their primer range!

Did you get any amazing beauty treats for Christmas?
